Tai Chi Chuan is a Chinese martial art that is
primarily practiced for its health benefits,
including a means for dealing with tension and
stress.
It emphasizes complete relaxation, and is
essentially a form of meditation. Developed to
foster calmness of breath and physical and
mental co-ordination, Tai Chi Chuan will, over
time, provide students with strength,
suppleness, stamina, confidence and a general
feeling of well-being and peace.
